So, we did it. We got a puppy! We've wanted one since we got married, but it's funny how finicky we were with the idea of taking care of a puppy, and then we just dove right into the whole raising a human thing.
Lyla has been obsessed with puppies for a while, so we decided that now was the time to do it...mostly so she can stop dragging me next door and across the street to go see the neighbor's "puh puhs".
He's a pretty cute little guy. He chases L around like nobody's business. Which she kind of hates until he stops, at which point she turns around and yells until he comes with her. They're totally already best frenemies.
Oh, and the cats are super excited too.
